PEFC CERTIFICATION

We received our PEFC certification on 27th January of the current year

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) - is an independent non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1999 devoted to promoting sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification.

PEFC implements mechanisms ensuring that the purchasers of wood and paper products promote sustainable forest management. PEFC is a global organisation appointed for endorsing national forest certification systems developed through multi-stakeholder processes.

Presently, PEFC International includes 39 national forest certification systems, 35 of which have been endorsed submitting to a comprehensive and thorough assessment process including independent evaluation and public consultation. These 35 systems are responsible for 264 million ha of certified forests producing millions of cubic metres of certified wood for the market which makes PEFC the world's largest forest certification system. Other national systems are at various stages of development and PEFC endorsement.
